Clare Waight Keller had a very boho and 70s feel to her collection this season as usual. It was something that every luxe hippie would crave and desire for her wardrobe!
The collection’s palette came in black, tan, pink, white, navy blue, beige, ivory, blue, chocolate brown, orange, red and grey. A lot of the clothes were in buttery tones and it all had a very wholesome atmosphere.
There were utilitarian denim cargo pants, teddy coats and knee-high work boots. There were also athletic touches, like a dreamy and velvety “lace” knit sweatsuit in chocolate brown and cream.
There was plenty of charm and “folkloric” touches to the clothes. That translated into long and lean floral dresses with bell-shaped sleeves, graphic jacquard ponchos and an adorable shearling bag shaped like a Russian nesting doll. The denim also got a folksy update, with strips of rickrack, twisted seams and frayed edges and boyish jeans. Come next season, many girls will pair the roomy cargos with a fluttery top, the See by Chloé’s new wooden clogs and a shearling jacket for a day out in the city.
Make sure to pre-order before they run out of stock! I know I certainly will.
