In the Trenches:

The trench coat is one of those classic pieces that have stood the test of time and has never gone out of fashion: it literally defies fashion!

The story starts when Thomas Burberry established his heritage house Burberry in 1856 and invented gabardine fabric in 1879. This was submitted as a design for an Army officer’s raincoat to the United Kingdom War Office in 1901. Later on, both French amd British soldiers wore these coats in the trenches, thus coming to be known as the “trench coat.”

Every woman needs one in her wardrobe and it is really an investment piece. Buy yours now and always look incredibly chic, whilst fighting your own daily battles!

  1. I love trench coats! I have 3 in my closet that I have had forever. One is Burberry and the two others are Prada. My ivory fox fur trimmed Prada trench coat is my absolute favourite!! It goes perfectly well with my white Manolo Blahnik spike heels and quilted Chanel double flap Boy bag.
