Escada Autumn/Winter 2017:

Escada did not do a show this season, instead opting for a look book to showcase their new clothes.

The color scheme was a mixture of black, white, grey, red, lavender, navy blue and tan. All the color basics for a modern day woman’s wardrobe were covered here.

The brand’s design team cited Hitchcockian femininity  and glamor as inspiration for Fall 2017. There were plenty of foldover bateau collars, smart suits and lots of wool flannel, some with diamond print. There were also knitted dresses, sheared mink coats, a great graphic T black and white dress and plenty of smart but relaxed business suits with warm and snug scarves.

There were also roomy silhouettes on cocktail dresses, zip-away fur lining on a travel-ready parka and knitwear layered under suits to combat the dropping temperatures of the Fall.

In short, this collection was perfect for a woman on the go who still wants go look good, but be comfortable at the same time. A woman who is confident in her own sense of style, knows what looks good on her and does not cave into the latest trends!
