Bouchra Jarrar’s collection for Lanvin this season was very elegant and understated. She used a lot of black, white, navy and neautral tones in her show and she had her garments made out of plissé chiffon, satin, lurex, fur and other luxurious fabrics.
The emphasis was on tenderness and power, with many of the styles worn by the models having a contrast of both masculine and femminine, which perfectly counterbalanced the froth.
Some of her best looks were the very smart tuxedos she did, as well as her LBDS. The general image that was championed was one of a quiet and relaxed woman, who is confortable in her skin, knows what looks good on her and exudes a timeless elegance that trancends seasons.
By far one of the best collections this season!
